Update: TV story

From Steph:

Hey all, Here's a 15 min. TV thing about the 10th Mountain Armydivision soldiers at Walter Reed. Travis was attachedwith 10th, so we got to participate. They came theday after surgery, so Trav couldn't be on. But, he'sdoing better. His pain is still crazy high, 6-7, butphysical therapy is moving his right leg and hip sofar. He can almost move his hips to a 90 degreeangle, which is the angle he needs to sit upcompletely! Thank you all so much for you continuinglove and support! We miss you all! Update: Travis is out of Surgery-HO removed!!

Travis had his HO removed today! It was about a 5hour long surgery. They were able to take almost allthe extra bone out! His leg already moves better thanbefore, but his pain is the same. Tomorrow he isgetting one dose of radiation so to stop the HO fromgrowing back. They also found arthritis in his hipjoint, so perhaps in the future he will have a hipreplacement.
